Vista House at Crown Point, OR
As August came to a close, I took a little trip up to visit Vista House at Crown Point with my parents. This was the third time I have enjoyed the view from this point in the Columbia River Gorge, but it was the first time that I have been there while the Vista House was open. With clear blue skies above and the sun shining down upon us, we took advantage of the good - and albeit hot - weather and strolled around the grounds and even went up to the Vista House balcony. On our way back to Portland, we also stopped at another viewpoint just minutes away from Crown Point and got a beautiful view of the Vista House with the Gorge stretching on into the distance. It was a gorgeous view!
Grateful to have visited this place before the fire.
