Constant stalling,

Waking thoughts

That prove I’m caught,

It’s me against myself.

Wanting, waiting,

Fighting, staving,

Hoping hearts

That fall apart,

Only to bloom again.

Striving, searching,

Always yearning,

Finding strength

That bears the weight

To find it overcomes.
